Boskamp, Die Eike, Tulbagh, Western Cape

De Eike farm is located 10km from Tulbagh. Boskamp is on a working farm surrounded by orchids. The campsite is surrounded by huge trees. It truly feels like a bush experience. The camp can accommodate 20 people. Because of the big trees, we had shade somewhere in the camp all day long. In the middle of the camp is a big fire pit. There is ample space for everybody to do their own thing on the braai.

Next to the camp is a river, definitely more water in winter time than in summer, but never the less a great place to walk around and for Savva to play. It is a pet friendly camp and the camp is exclusive. If  you book it, it is yours, whether you are 4 or 20 people. The ablutions is beautiful and hot water is from a donkey. There are 3 electricity points which can accommodate a fridge and lights, but not hairdryers and kettles. There are also taps with fresh, drinkable water. Watch the video below for the full review.
