Kalahari Game Lodge, Mata Mata, Namibia

Kalahari Game Lodge is situated about 20km from the Mata Mata of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The nearest town in Namibia where you can stock up will be Gochas which is about 162km away. The campsites all have a private lapa area and private ablution facilities. There is no electricity at the campsite so you will need to pack in solar panels to keep the batteries charged. At the main lodge area there is also a bar and restaurant area where you can have a meal or a cold refreshing beverage. You can also gaze out over the water hole and see some of the wildlife come down to drink. And on those hot summer days you can cool down in the swimming pool that is right next to the water hole. If camping is not your thing, you can stay at one of the chalets at the lodge as well. We had a great stay at Kalahari Game Lodge and it is ideal if you are making your way to and from Namibia via the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
