Namaqua Park Campsites, Northern Cape

Namaqua Park forms part of SANPARKS and is is situated along the western coastline in the Northern Cape. The park offers truly beautiful views and some interesting sights while allowing you to connect with nature. If you are lucky you might even spot some game. Other points of interest includes the seal colony, Spoegrivier Caves, Groenrivier mouth or even make a day trip to Hondeklipbaai. Most of the roads in the park consists of thick sand or gravel so a 4x4 is a necessity. We visited the following campsites: Boulderbaai; Skuinsbaai Noord; Koringkorrelbaai and Delwers camp. The campsites are very basic. In essence you only have a fire pit surrounded by a rock wall to shelter you from the wind. As for ablution facilities, there is only a long drop available with NO drinking water and NO shower facilities. You have to ensure that you take enough drinking water with you for the duration of your stay. The park is a special place to visit it is a great place to reconnect with nature and offers some spectacular scenery. Watch the video below for the full review:
