Beaverlac, Porterville, Western Cape

Beaverlac is a very basic camp high up in the Olifantsrivier Mountains. It is a basic camp with running water and hot showers. There is no electricity and pets are very welcome. The camp has a unique atmosphere. There are no designated campsites and you can just pick a spot that suits you. You can go hiking and will see the most beautiful rock pools. Especially early in the morning, you maybe lucky and have it all to yourself. We love the strict NO MUSIC policy. Remember to bring cash, no card or cell phone facilities available. There is a very well stocked shop on the premises, and you can buy all the basic stuff, including meat and firewood. Check out the video below.
