Jamaka Campsite, Cederberg, Western Cape

Jamaka is a big campground in the beautiful Cederberg area in the Western Cape. The campsites are spread out next to a river. Most of the campsite are grass covered and there are a lot of trees scattered around the camp. The shade is very welcome in summertime. So are the numerous rockpools in the river. it can get very hot here in summer and it is a bonus to cool off in the river. Besides being in nature the camp offers a pub, pizza shack, milkshake joint, fast food and craft beer. Lots of volley ball matches have been settled at the legendary volley ball net. Be brave and try the zipline. There are a couple of ablution facilities scattered through out the camp. it is neat and cleaned on a daily basis. Jamaka is a great place to relax in nature.
