Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Serowe, Botswana

Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a game park that specialises in the breeding and protection of rhinoceros. This is a safe haven for rhinos. It was established in 1993 and since then has done a great job with protecting the rhino. You will be able to see black and white rhino in the sanctuary. The unfenced campsites are big and spacious and has lots of trees. It is surrounded by bushes and gives a sense of privacy. Each campsite has a Makongwa tree. The campsite can accommodate a couple of trailers or cars. You will need a 4x4 to reach the campsite. The sanctuary offer guided game drives or you can do a self-drive game drive. Besides rhinos there are a variety of other wildlife that you can also see. The communal ablutions have hot water showers and flush toilets. Enjoy a meal or a drink at the restaurant while you cool off in the pool. The shop has very limited supplies. We would suggest to stock up at the last town. You can buy firewood at the gate. A great place to enjoy nature.
