Moon River Bushcamp, Op Die Berg, Western Cape

Moon River Bush Camp is a real hidden gem in the Koue Bokkeveld. The camp consists of 2 private campsites that are beautifully nestled in into the side of the mountains and offers you some spectacular views. You also get a real oof grid feel when you are visiting these campsites. This means of course that there is no electricity so you will need to take those solar panels along if you nee to keep batteries charged. The campsite itself is rather spacious and can accommodate at least 4 cars and camping trailers. Next to your camp area you will find a big braai area with a cement built braai and a movable braai drum. There is also a gazebo area with a wash up sink and the stream running next to your campsite gives you access to a rock pool where you can cool off on those hot summer days. On the farm itself you can go on many walking routes and see some very interesting and scenic sights. One of the highlights must be the grotto rock pool that looks like an oasis carved out between the rocks. You will also find a 4x4 route on the premises that you can drive if you want to. Moon River Bush camp is a awesome destination if you are looking to get away from the noise of city life and spend some quality time in nature. You can watch the video for the full campsite review.
