Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, Okonjati Game Reserve, Namibia

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is located in the Okonjati Game reserve and it truly is a special place to visit. The Lodge is situated about 225km North of Windhoek. The Lodge area has a restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. You can relax next to the inviting swimming pool or sit next to the waterhole and watch some of the animals in the reserve come down to drink. The Lodge is really kept in pristine condition. A few kilometres from the camp you can find the campsites. The campsites are all private campsites with private ablutions. You get the feeling that you are camping in the bush. Each campsite has a private lapa and ablution area where you can wash dishes and the ablution area has an indoor and outdoor shower for those hot Namibian evenings. The campsite is also equipped with a big braai area and firewood was provided at the campsite. You overlook a waterhole, that was unfortunately dry when we visited, and sometimes antelope and other game will come down to drink. This truly is a place where you can come unwind and spend some time in nature. We really enjoyed our stay and we can definitely recommend you to pay it a visit.
