Koningskop, Citrusdal, Western Cape

Koningskop is a family orientated camp close to Citrusdal. It is a tar road up to the campsite. The campsites are well demarcated and you will camp on green grass. The ablutions are adequate with hot water showers. Most of the camp has big trees and you will have shade at least for some part of the day. It can become very hot here. Speaking of, there is a huge dam with a slip ‘n slide and another smaller pool where you can cool off. The kids can enjoy themselves in the play area. Pack in your mountain bike or go hiking on the hiking trails. The more brave can do the 4x4 trail. If you want to watch the rugby you can do so in the restaurant/bar area. This is definitely a great escape from the city for the entire family. The more ”tired” among us, can just sit and enjoy the vies of the mountains.
