Enjo Nature Farm, Clanwilliam, Western Cape
Enjo is in the heart of the Cederberg. This is a scenic drive through the Pakhuis pass. Along the way you can admire the rock formations and stop at the Englishmen’s grave and Leipoldts, grave. Enjo is on a farm and we got a warm welcome. You almost feel like friends. The campsites are big and the huge trees provided much welcomed shade. We visited towards the end of summer, thus we camped on gravel and the river was dry. Nevertheless, the views of the mountains was beautiful. There are a couple of hiking trails on the farm. There are two pools available, one may be used by pets! The ablutions are adequate and the shower was nice and hot. We even saw wild roaming reindeer in the camp. You can buy the bare necessities from a little shop and there is an honesty shop for firewood. Wi-Fi is available at the reception area. The camp is pet friendly. We cannot wait to go back in the flower season.
