Alte Brucke, Swakopmund, Namibia

Alte Brucke is a well established resort in the heart of Swakopmund. The campsites are grass covered and each campsite has its own ablution facilities. There are hot water showers and a built in braai on a little stoep area with a small veranda for shade. Each campsite has taps with drinking water, zinc for doing dishes and three point electricity plug. Palm trees are scattered throughout the camp. Alte Brucke is well organized and offer good value for money. You can have meals at the restaurant, buy fire wood from the curio shop and have your laundry done. It is within walking distance from the town center and a stone throw away from the beach. You need to go through security gates before entering the resort. The town offers a wide variety of things to do. You can do quad biking, camel riding, go on a catamaran in the harbor, climb dune 7, desert tours, sand boarding, 4x4 or just hang out in the town. This is a real oasis in the desert.
