Bush Camp at Camp Kwando, Kongola, Caprivi, Namibia

Bush Camp at Camp Kwando is situated about 5km outside of the small town of Kongola in the Caprivi region of Namibia. This well maintained campsite is perfect to get back into nature and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. All the campsites are nice and private and has their own private ablution areas. The sites are big and the surrounding trees ensures that there are ample shade throughout the day. Each site has its own lapa area with a spacious work area, wash basin and built in braai. Outside of the lapa area there is also a fire pit where can sit around a fire and admire the beaty of the river and surrounds. At the reception area you can find a Wi-Fi hotspot if you need to catch up on news from back home. There is also a bar area and swimming pool where you can relax and unwind. From the viewing deck you can have a amazing view over the branch of the Kwando river and if you are lucky you might even see some of the hippos or elephants that frequent the campsite. The nearby town of Kongola has a fuel station and a rather well stocked Metro store where you can find anything from meat to tin foods to vegetables to sweets and even some auto spares.
