Dwarkersbos Caravan Park, Dwarskersbos, Western Cape

Dwarskersbos is caravan park in the coastal village of Dwarskersbos. It is on the West Coast of the Western Cape and is located a couple of meters form the beach. It is an easy, Friday afternoon drive from Cape Town. This is a popular place for fishing and enjoying a summer holiday. It is a big camp with lots of trees and shade. They offer alternative forms of accommodation like self-catering chalets. There is a security gate at the entrance and access to the beach is through a gate that gets locked. The ablution facilities are clean with hot water showers and flush toilets. When you come back from the beach after swimming, fishing or just a leisurely walk, you can rinse the sand off your feet at an open shower. The ablution area offers laundry facilities and an area to do your dishes. The fisherman has a special place to clean the catch of the day. A big play area will keep the kids busy. At nighttime you can relax at the fire in the build in braai. The shops are just a stone throw away and do visit the local restaurants for breakfast or lunch.
