Growcery Campsite, Vioolsdrift, Northern Cape

Growcery camp is situated on the banks of the Orange river in the Northern Cape. The camp is great place to stop over if your are travelling between Namibia and South Africa or if you want to explore the Orange River. The camp is lush green and covered in grass. All the campsites are on the edge of the river and offers some amazing views of the Orange river. Each site has a small gazebo area with a basin and a 220V electrical outlet. There is also a source of light in the gazebo to ensure you can prepare your food once it gets dark. The adventurous among us can go river rafting on the Orange River. The camp offers river rafting tours or you can just cool down in the river on those hot days. There are also rooms available if you do not want to camp. At the reception area you can also find a bar and restaurant area where you can enjoy a good meal or a refreshing drink. This is a well kept and very interesting campsite to visit.
