Kgalagadi Lifestyle Lodge, Kalahari Region, Northern Cape

Kgalagadi Lifestyle Lodge is 5 km from the gate to the Kgalagdi Transfrontier Park. It is the ideal place to stay if you need to enter the park early in the morning or want to stay outside the park in order to leave early the next day. It is so close by that you can stay here and venture into the park on a daily basis. The campsites are on a big red dune. Each campsite has private ablutions with a hot water shower, flush toilet and zinc. it is spacious and neat. Next to the ablutions is a much needed veranda for shade. You can pitch your tent under it. There is a built in braai and you can buy firewood from the shop. The view from the camp is breathtaking. Some wild animals roam in the camp. we were welcomed by some eland at the gate. At the reception area is a very well stocked shop with a bakery and a restaurant. You can stock up here on fresh produce for your stay in the park. The restaurant offers delicious meals. You can cool off in the pool at the reception. in summer time this is much needed.
