Lylius, Clanwilliam, Western Cape

Lylius is a real gem of camp in the Cederberg area. There are private campsites on beautiful green grass. The campsites are big and spacious and there are one or two more private campsite. Each campsite has a lapa area with a table and benches. The lapa provide for welcome shade or shelter if it rains. In the lapa area is private ablutions, a working surface, gas plate, zinc and three point electricity plugs. The camp even have a braai grid and some braai utensils. Taaibos camp has a wonderful view of the mountains and the valley below. Lylius is a pet friendly campsite. You can buy firewood from the management and have a swim in the pool at the communal lapa area. The communal lapa area is the start to the hiking trails. The management was very caring and checked everyday to make sure that everything was going well. This will be an idela place to stay in flower season.
