Kraalskloof Campsite, Rawsonville, Western Cape

Kraalskloof is a great campsite located just outside of Rawsonville in the Western Cape. There are 3 private campsites on the farm each located next to a big dam. The campsites are in great condition and two of them are covered in green grass. There is also a more off-grid campsite on the farm as well. The two main campsites both has a room on the campsite that has an indoor braai area equipped with tables a gas stove and lights. Outside you will find a fire pit and a braai drum where you can braai on those summer nights. The stand is big and spacious, we could fit in 6 cars and 6 camping trailers on our site, more than that will be a squeeze. You can relax in one of the 2 hot tubs that is located on the campsite. One is near the building area while the other one overlooks the dam. There is also kayaking gear that you can use to have some fun on the dam. The indoor braai area makes this a perfect campsite for the winter months when it is cold and rainy. You will have to take solar panels along if you want to keep your car and trailer charged as the electricity in the braai room is only suited for charging small appliances. Each site has its own ablution area that consists of two rooms each with a flush toilet and hot water shower.

On the farm self there are some walking trails and roads that you can cycle on. In the surrounding area you can find some interesting farm stalls and wine farms to keep you entertained. This is great campsite for both summer and winter. The private nature of the campsite makes it great place to go to relax and unwind.
