Arendsrus Campsite, George, Western Cape

Arendsrus is a well run and well maintained campsite a few km’s outside of the town of George in the Western Cape. The farm has many accommodation options including chalets and campsites. The campsites are very neat and they have some beautiful views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Each campsite has access to drinking water and grey water as well as a 220V electrical outlet. There is also a braai drum on the campsite. Green grass covers the campsite and they are all of decent size you would easily fit 2 cars and 2 camping trailers on each site. Each site has its own private ablution area that has a hot water shower and flush toilet as well as wash up area.

At the reception area you can find a restaurant and bar where you can enjoy a meal or a drink and the wedding and events venues as well as the chalets. There is also a swimming pool where you can come and cool down and relax on those hot days. In the surrounding areas you can find many great golf courses and it not to far of drive to Victoriabaai if you want to visit the beach. You can also take a scenic drive up along the coast to the towns of Knysna and Buffelsbaai. We had a great stay at Arendsrus. The camp was well looked after and in great condition.
