Marcuskraal, Citrusdal, Western Cape

Marcuskraal is a small campsite on off the N7 between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam. It is a short drive from the the turn off on the N7 to the campsite. This makes it the ideal stopover on your way to Namibia or the Northern Cape. The camp have campsites suitable for tents and some for trailers and caravans. There are big trees that will give shade through out the day. An undercover lapa area is a bonus on those rainy days and the pool is a great addition for the hot summer days. Next to the campsite is a function venue. There are alternative accomodation available as well. A 4x4 route will rake you to the top of the Osberg mountains where you will have a beaytiful view of the surrounding area. The best part of the route is suitable for inexperienced drivers, but there are some challenging parts too. Fire wood and ice are for sale on a honesty basis. The play area will keep the kids busy. All the ablutions are neat and well maintained.
