River Goose Campsite, Bonnievale, Western Cape

River Goose campsite is located a few kilometres outside of Bonnievale. The campsite is built on the edge of the Breede River with a few sites being on the edge of the river while others are located a bit more inland. Campsite 1 and 2 are a bit more secluded and will offer a bit more privacy. Campsite 3 - 7 is on the river’s edge. All of the sites are covered in green grass and the surrounding trees will offer a high level of shade throughout the day. At each campsite you will also find a braai drum and dustbin. On the premises you can also find 2 ablution areas with flush toilets and hot water showers. Firewood and ice is also available at the camp. There is no electricity at the camp so you will need to pack those solar panels if you have to keep batteries charged.

This is a real scenic campsite and almost gives you the feeling that you are camping in a forest. The river running along the campsite is great place for fishing and you can even book boat cruises from the campsite to explore the river and surrounds.
