Fonteintjiesberg, Worcester, Western Cape

Fonteintjies berg is 15 km from Worcester and an easy drive form Cape Town. It is mostly tar road and the last couple of kilometers is a good gravel road. Fonteintjiesberg is situated on a farm and offers a beautiful view of the mountains on the one side and the valley on the other. Even though you can see the lights in the distance it is peaceful and quiet. It can accommodate 10 caravans or tents. You cannot book a specific sight, it is on a first come, first serve basis. The entire camp is covered in luscious green grass. There are two gazebos offering limited shade. The ablutions are modern and well maintained. Each campsite has access to a three point electricity plug. Gas geysers provide hot water for the showers and the scullery area. Fonteintjiesberg is a pet friendly camp. Your four legged family member can accompany you on the hiking trails. You can also bring your mountain bike and explore the area that way.
